Infusion Center

The Infusion Center at Grand Itasca provides short- and long-term infusion therapy to patients in a convenient comfortable setting.

The center is designed to provide therapy to patients who may not require hospitalization, who may not be receiving home care because of insurance constraints or simply may prefer the ease and convenience of clinical appointments.

Patients are followed and monitored by a clinical team of Registered Nurses, a Certified Oncology Nurse and a visiting Oncologist, Dr. Steven Kuross, from SMDC. Grand Itasca Infusion Therapy can also facilitate chemotherapy and prescribed treatments from other facilities, an ideal arrangement for those patients who do not want to drive long distances for their infusion therapy treatments.

Services offered at Grand Itasca may include but are not limited to:

• chemotherapy
• antibiotic, anti-fungal and antiviral therapies
• Remicade (a infusion therapy for Rheumatoid Arthritis)
  fluids for hydration
• Boniva (a infusion therapy for Osteoporosis)

The hours of operation for the Infusion Center at Grand Itasca, are: Monday - Friday: 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
