Grand Rapids, MN – Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital has partnered with the Itasca County Sheriff’s Office to host a Drug Disposal Day on February 25th from 10am-1pm at Grand Itasca. Left in your home, medicine can lead to accidental poisoning, theft and drug abuse, and if flushed down your toilet or disposed of in the trash, can cause environmental problems. Protect your family and the environment by properly disposing of your unused prescription and over-the-counter medicines.

To participate in Drug Disposal Day, bring your old and unused medicines to Grand Itasca (use main clinic entrance) between 10:00am and 1:00pm on Saturday, February 25th. Please remove your name and other identifying information from prescription bottles. No syringes, needles or sharps will be accepted. There is no cost to participate in the Drug Disposal Day event.
