Grand Rapids, MN – Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital is excited to announce that Joni Morse, RN has joined the organization as a new Director of Clinic Nursing. Joni grew up in Grand Rapids and attended Itasca Community College. Her first nursing job was at Itasca Medical Center in Grand Rapids. She then moved to the Twin Cities where she pursued her RN degree, after which she worked at Park Nicollet for 15 years in various roles, including managing eight urgent care clinics. Most recently Joni worked as the Clinic Manager at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia, where she was responsible for two primary care clinics. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Nursing.
Joni’s family consists of her husband, Brad, who grew up in Pengilly, and two daughters, Gabrielle (24) and Morgan (19). They have had a cabin on Swan Lake for two years and are happy to be back in the Grand Rapids area near their families. “I am very excited to move back to northern Minnesota and return to the health care organization in my hometown where my nursing career began” says Morse. “It is rewarding for me to work with caring and compassionate health care teams that strive to deliver exceptional patient-centered care.”
