Dedicated to achieve excellent quality outcomes and to build a culture of patient safety, we seek to provide care that is safe, patient-centered, effective, timely, and efficient.  We measure our performance through a number of clinical process and outcome indicators and benchmark our performance against top performing medical centers within Minnesota and across the nation.

In 2011, Grand Itasca achieved 100% in heart attack, surgical care improvement project (SCIP), outpatient chest pain and outpatient SCIP.

We are committed to keeping our patients safe and protected from harm.  We have adopted the Joint Commission’s National Patient Safety Goals and have implemented evidence-based practices throughout the clinic and hospital to support patient safety.
