Cardiac Rehabilitation

The Cardiac Rehab Department sees both inpatient and outpatients for cardiac health conditions. The trained staff will help identify risk factors and promote lifestyle changes to reduce the risk factors, including a monitored exercise program.

Patients who have experienced the following conditions may be good candidates for the Outpatient Phase II Cardiac Rehabilitation program at Grand Itasca:

  • Heart attack
  • Coronary artery bypass surgery
  • Heart transplant
  • Valve replacement surgery
  • Cardiac ballooning or stenting
  • Stable angina

Hand Therapy

Hand Therapy is a specialized therapy to help treat patients with conditions affecting the hand up to the shoulder.

Pelvic Health Program for Women

Grand Itasca has several physical therapists that specialize in treating chronic pelvic pain, which can be an extremely debilitating disorder. Using a combination of specialized manual techniques, exercises and biofeedback, physical therapy can significantly minimize complications caused by pelvic floor problems to reduce symptoms and relieve pelvic pain.
