Purchases
Proceeds raised by the gift shop, coffee bar, and other Volunteer
Services fund raisers are donated to Grand Itasca for the purchase of equipment and to support programs.
In 2005–2007, Grand Itasca Volunteer Services has contributed
the following to Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital.
- Funded the reach-out-and-read program
- Paging disks for surgical services
- $7500 in scholarships
- A new rocker for the Women’s Health and Birth nursery.
- Flat Screen TVs for 64 new patient rooms at Grand Itasca’s new facility.
- Patio furniture for the outside dining areas at Grand Itasca’s new facility.
- The Heat-on-Demand system utilized by our Food and Nutrition Department to provide Room Service meals.
