Grand Rapids, MN – Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital is proud to announce the addition of Dr. Keith Murphy on September 3rd. Dr. Murphy will practice in Pediatrics and internal Medicine.

Dr. Murphy completed an Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency program at the University of Minnesota in June 2012 and worked at Park Nicollet – Maple Grove in a clinic setting with Internal Medicine and Pediatrics rounding at nearby hospitals for the past year. Both Dr. Murphy and his wife grew up in rural areas he says his goal after finishing his training was to “get back to outstate Minnesota and help take care of people.” Spending time at Grand Itasca during his rotations, Dr. Murphy “really enjoyed his time in clinic and felt at home with everyone.” Dr. Murphy and his wife enjoy the outdoors and were attracted to Grand Rapids for its outdoor offerings as well as the music, arts and commerce our area offers. With his valuable combination of training in Pediatrics as well as Internal Medicine, he is able to care for patients of all ages including those with complex medical conditions.
