Fairview MyChart – E-Visits Now Available!

Fairview MyChart is your secure, online connection to your health information. You can manage your health care online, anytime, from your computer or mobile devices. If you are not yet enrolled in Fairview MyChart, please see below for enrollment instructions.

E-Visits

E-visits are completed securely online with your provider, using Fairview MyChart or over the telephone.

What conditions can be treated with an e-visit? 

  • acne
  • sinus
  • urinary, bladder or yeast infections
  • cough
  • diarrhea
  • headaches
  • heartburn
  • pink eye
  • recurrent conditions including back pain, depression, and anxiety


How do I request an e-visit? 

1. Log into your account at fairview.org/MyChart
2. Choose “Get care online”
3. Click “Request an E-visit”

How quickly will I receive a response from my provider? 

You'll receive a response within one business day; visits occurring on a weekend are answered on Mondays

How much does an e-visit cost? 

E-visits are typically covered by insurance. The cost for e-visits vary depending on the time the provider needs to determine the right treatment for you:
5 to 10 min. - $45
11 to 20 min. - $65
Over 21 min. - $90

How to Enroll:

1. First things, first! You'll need a MyChart Access Code. You can get that code in one of the following ways:
2. Once you have your MyChart Access Code, visit Fairview MyChart and click on the "New Users, Sign Up Now" button.
3. Enter your Access Code, pick a MyChart ID and password and log-in to begin using MyChart. It's really that easy! 

*Your Access Code will expire in 90 days. If you need a new code, please call 855-513-5513.

Some of the benefits of using Fairview MyChart include:
  • Schedule appointments: Schedule appointments, including lab and mammograms or have an eVisit with your own provider. 
  • Renew your prescriptions: Ask your health care team to renew a prescription.
  • Communicate with your care team: Use MyChart to send messages and ask questions of your health care team at any time. Your provider can email you a response, all within a secure environment.
  • Receive your test results: You can see test results as your provider has reviewed them. Use the e-mail tool within MyChart to communicate with your care team if you have questions about the results.
  • View and print medical information: You can see portions of your medical record online. MyChart keeps track of current medical issues, and lets you view and print your medication history or immunization record.
  • Receive reminders: MyChart will send you appointment reminders, via email or text, about upcoming appointments as well as preventive care information to help you stay healthy. You can opt in for these options when you sign up.
  • Mobile app: The MyChart mobile application (app) is available for iPhone and Android users. The secure, free app provides you easy access on the go from your mobile device. Search "MyChart" in your app store.
