Cancer & Infusion

Because of you, cancer and infusion patients can now receive critical treatments close to home. More than 500 donors came together to exceed the $2 million fundraising goal, giving our community of patients access to the very best in medicine, comfort and compassionate care without leaving Grand Rapids.

3-D Mammography

Our donors made it possible! Now, women in our area can take advantage of 3-D mammography that can result in earlier detection of abnormalities including breast cancer.

Tele-ICU

Our incredible donors raised $48,000 to purchase new Tele-ICU equipment, including a top-of-the-line, two-way audio and video system for Grand Itasca. The Tele-ICU makes it possible for patients to receive great care from their hometown providers at Grand Itasca, with an extra layer of 24-hour monitoring. An intensive care team at M Health Fairview’s Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN can collaborate with the local team at Grand Itasca to review vital signs, lab data, imaging, and more. This reduces the likelihood of a Grand Itasca patient needing to transfer to a larger hospital that is further from home and family.
