About Me & My Care Philosophy
Preferred Pronouns
Psychiatry to me is the most interesting and challenging but limitless field of medicine. It enables me to be creative and form real relationships with people. I feel that psychiatric medications are most useful to treat symptoms that are causing impairment in a person’s life. The combination of medications and psychotherapy (counseling) is often the most effective treatment.
I always discuss treatment possibilities with each patient so they can make informed choices. The goal is to get healthy, without residual symptoms or impairments. It is my belief that there are always possible treatment approaches and I will never give up on finding what works for my patients.
